This week is the annual E3 Expo, and while there's usually not much for casual gamers to get excited about at this event, we do keep an eye open for any new and upcoming causal games that might spark our interest.
So, it comes as no surprise, that when we heard of the new Sims game coming out in September - Sims 4, we were a bit excited. If you're a casual gamer, and you haven't played a Sims game... well... I'm just not sure we can be friends.
I admit, it's been a while since I've played a Sims game. I think the last game to drag me into its addicting little world was Sims Pets. The problem with these games is that once you start playing them, you really can't stop. And, well, life's been crazy for me, and my game playing time just can't match the dedication needed to truly immerse myself in a Sims game.
But, that still doesn't stop me from being hopeful that by the time this new Sims game comes out, life will have slowed down just a tad. Because... I tell you... watching the trailer and seeing those little Sims dance around ignited a desire to snuggle up with my laptop at night and live someone else's life... just for a little bit.
Think I'm crazy? Well, watch this trailer and see if you don't get the itch to pull out your old Sims games as we wait for Sims 4 to be released in September. Don't forget, you can pre-order The Sims 4 on Amazon and receive the Life of the Party Digital Content, which includes extra outfits and the Flaming Tiki Bar!
