When I was 17 years old I left the sleepy little cow town where I went to High school and ventured forth to San Francisco to further my education. I decided I wanted to be a Registered Dental Assistant and so I enrolled in school, paid my tuition and away I went. I was all by myself and scared to death. The first few weeks I was there I lived with a very nice Jewish family. The school I went to was three bus changes away from their house. The day before school started their 11 year old son took me to the school and home to show me where to get on the busses. I was green as grass. I was very happy living with the family and babysitting for them for my room and board.
Then it all came to an end when we had a little misunderstanding about the baby. They got a little upset when I took the baby to confession with me. So I found a new home in a female-only apartment building. I had 2 roommates. One from Dallas Texas and one from Jacksonville Florida. When I went home for Christmas vacation I had a strong southern accent which my Grandmother informed me was a sign of a weak personality.
Anyway when I saw the game lost in the City it reminded me of my adventure so I gave it a try. It is a good hidden object game. The only thing I disliked about it was all the reading you had to do to play the game. I think they could have cut down a lot of it. But the graphics are good and there is also a magnifying glass that really comes in handy.
One of the tips I would give you is to be sure to do all the tasks in the order they are given. If you don’t you may get in a mess and have to start over. But the game is pretty straight forward and you shouldn’t have a bit of trouble if you read the instructions before you begin. I should warn you that this game has some violence and partial nudity in it. The nudity I believe is a mannequin but it is kind of graphic. Just a heads up if you have a problem with that sort of thing. I am still playing the game so I don’t know how it ends but I have had a good time solving the mysteries. It’s a little different than most of the hidden object games I’ve played. Try it out and see what you think.
